As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, support access control and visitor interactions, and communicate clearly with site teams and responders. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and approved security-related procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout office, campus, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, issue temporary credentials when directed, and help to manage visitor check-in and/or delivery routing in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordination with site contacts, and requesting medical or law enforcement assistance when needed.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift turnover updates, and communicate relevant observations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
