As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a cultural institution, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas within the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other prohibited activities.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or providing directions to visitors and staff as needed.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
