As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotels and resorts location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will greet guests and staff, communicate clearly, and document concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of hotel and resort areas including lobbies, corridors, meeting spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical situations, and/or fire and alarm activations, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and guest-only areas, assist with key control and/or lost and found procedures as assigned, and report suspicious activity according to post orders.
• Complete reports and logs such as shift activity, incident reports, and/or patrol documentation, and communicate status updates to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
