Security Officer - Morning Shift Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Morning Shift Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements
- Security experience of 6+ months is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, dock areas, parking lots, and perimeter; conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor, driver, and contractor check-in and/or badge verification in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site management and/or emergency services as directed.
- Complete routine documentation such as patrol activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate notable conditions to the next shift and/or site leadership.
