As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

Applicants must have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Applicants must be at least 21+ years of age.
Applicants must have 5+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the production, warehouse, and office areas and around the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Perform access control at designated entry points by checking identification, logging visitors, and directing deliveries to the appropriate receiving areas.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other site systems when assigned, and communicate concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Complete routine patrol and incident reports, documenting observations, irregularities, and corrective actions taken.
Support food and beverage operations by assisting with traffic control for truck yards, employee parking areas, and pedestrian routes as assigned.
Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and property damage by maintaining a visible presence and promptly reporting suspicious activity.
Coordinate with local emergency responders and site management during emergencies, following site-specific procedures and post orders.
Follow all Allied Universal policies and site-specific requirements related to hygiene, restricted areas, and personal protective equipment as assigned.
