About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mobile Rounds Driver in Wayne, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points and respond to calls for service while delivering customer-focused communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. At Allied Universal, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset to every shift.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, garages, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe property activity, addressing suspicious or disruptive behavior in accordance with post orders and escalating concerns to site management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions and assistance until the situation is resolved or transferred to appropriate responders.
• Complete routine documentation such as shift logs, patrol reports, and incident reports, and communicate observations and handoff notes to oncoming personnel and site contacts.
