About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mobile Rounds Driver in Wilmington, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols across the site, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will support access control and visitor interactions while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2+ years of Security Experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess a TSA Issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, tank farms, offices, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or escort procedures, and directing traffic flow per location requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate contacts and coordinate response actions per post orders.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate noteworthy observations during shift transitions, and report maintenance or operational concerns through established channels.
