As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Tullahoma, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors while delivering a customer-first experience. Requirements

• Have 6+ months of security experience.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and timely notification to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by post assignment.
• Control access to designated areas by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials when required, and directing visitors to sign-in processes and/or approved routes.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant updates during shift handoff.
