About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driving Role in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will complete routine vehicle rounds across the location, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first approach to every shift through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting key details per site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location, including interior and/or exterior areas and the perimeter, as directed by post orders.
• Monitor the location for unusual activity and potential policy violations, helping to discourage unauthorized access and/or property damage, and reporting concerns to the appropriate parties.
• Communicate clearly with client representatives, visitors, and/or staff, providing directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.
