You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and strong customer service. Working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first, you will document activity, assist employees and visitors, and act with integrity every shift.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout offices, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and guests; assist with visitor check-in, badging, and directing authorized individuals to the appropriate location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site contacts and/or public responders when needed.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations; communicate timely updates to supervision and site leadership using approved reporting tools.
