As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reports with calm, clear communication. You will document observations, support access control and visitor guidance, and deliver customer service with professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and supporting on-site response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, parking lots, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards, with working conditions that may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control activities such as verifying credentials, directing visitor check-in, and maintaining awareness of restricted areas.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate status updates to site leadership, and assist with investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.
