About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support site operations by observing conditions, reporting concerns, and assisting employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout industrial buildings, production areas, warehouses, and perimeter lines; note and report unusual conditions that could impact operations or property.
  • Monitor access points and visitor/contractor activity as assigned, assist with directions and badging processes, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or restricted-area access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, medical calls, and facility disruptions; coordinate notifications to site contacts and public responders as needed.
  • Complete routine documentation such as patrol activity logs, incident reports, and shift turnover notes; communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
