Job Description As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Lincoln, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help identify and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, document observations, and communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors while delivering customer service. Requirements

Have Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years.
Be 21+ Years of Age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utilities location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or emergency services as required.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes, monitoring for unusual activity and conditions that could help to deter unauthorized access.
Control access at gates, doors, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing foot and vehicle traffic according to site requirements.
Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports, patrol logs, and incident reports, and communicate observations to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
