Job Description As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Columbus, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor grounds, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or calls for service, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization at designated entry points, monitoring visitor check-in processes, and directing traffic flow as needed.
  • Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift pass-downs, and communicate observations to the supervisor and/or site contacts.
