As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, observe for suspicious behavior, and report security-related concerns according to post orders and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with management and/or local authorities when appropriate.
  • Complete reports and logs for patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
