Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate with professionalism, and bring our values of teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation to every shift.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to छात्रों, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout campus grounds, academic buildings, residence areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations as assigned.
  • Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and/or prohibited activity across the location.
  • Support campus operations during events, after-hours activity, and/or routine daily functions by reporting hazards, unusual behavior, and other security-related concerns.
