About The Position
As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Commercial Point, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating concerns involving shoppers, visitors, and store personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate contacts.
- Support closing and opening procedures, assist with crowd and line monitoring during busy periods, and document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities according to site guidelines.
