About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in La Quinta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a resort-style location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting matters to site leadership when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, guest areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and activity across the location, verifying authorized entry and assisting with visitor direction, information, and/or other customer service needs.
  • Support hotel and resort operations by observing for policy violations, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related issues, and communicating findings through proper reporting channels.
