About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in La Quinta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a resort-style location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting matters to site leadership when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, guest areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and activity across the location, verifying authorized entry and assisting with visitor direction, information, and/or other customer service needs.
Support hotel and resort operations by observing for policy violations, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related issues, and communicating findings through proper reporting channels.
