Security Officer - Mobile Driver Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Mobile Driver Patrol in Tonganoxie, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help create a welcoming experience through high-visibility patrols, routine checks, and clear reporting of security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, with much of your shift spent in a patrol vehicle and engaging with tenants and visitors. Requirements
- Be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or property damage.
- Monitor access points, assist with visitor management and/or delivery routing as directed by site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit flow.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including observing, reporting, and coordinating with on-site personnel and/or public emergency responders when needed.
- Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and report maintenance concerns such as lighting outages, unsecured doors, or hazards observed during rounds.
