About The Position

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling by vehicle as well as on foot. You will interact with employees and visitors, uphold Allied Universal's values, and contribute to a secure and welcoming environment through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for any unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe individuals entering and exiting the location to help maintain a secure environment.
Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual occurrences, or maintenance needs according to site procedures.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related concerns and support the overall mission of the location.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings at all times while performing assigned patrol duties.
