Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy healthcare location, where you will greet patients, visitors, and staff, support access control and badging processes, and help monitor entry points for security-related concerns. You will stay visible, communicate clearly, and document observations using a computer or tablet as needed. Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
Be at least 21+ years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following access control procedures, screening protocols, and site-specific policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities as directed.
Conduct entry screening by verifying identification when required, checking bags or carried items per site procedures, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in or care areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, disruptive behavior, and/or assistance requests from staff.
Monitor entrances, waiting areas, and other assigned locations for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access, reporting concerns promptly through the established chain of command.
Complete required documentation such as screening logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
