About The Position

As a Security Officer Medical Patrol in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, badge and credential checks, and reporting policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by observing for hazards, trespassing, and/or disruptive conduct, then reporting concerns and following site protocols for response.
