About The Position

As a Security Officer Courtyard Patrol in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic media and technology location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, production-related areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and assist with enforcing location rules for deliveries, guests, and after-hours access.
Support day-to-day operations by preparing routine reports, noting maintenance or life system concerns, and sharing relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
