About The Position

As a Security Officer - Media Site Lobby in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a dynamic technology environment, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting with access control while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents and supports a secure environment. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner at the front desk, providing assistance as needed and verifying identification as required by site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the location by checking credentials and logging visitor information to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters or unusual activity.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide a point of contact for security-related concerns.
Follow emergency response procedures as outlined in site-specific policies, including assisting with evacuation or shelter-in-place protocols when appropriate.
Document security-related incidents and prepare written reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
