About The Position

As a Security Officer - Media Roving Patrol in Culver City, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic technology environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your presence and excellent customer service will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for all. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and promoting a secure environment.
Monitor access points and observe activities on the premises, reporting any irregularities or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site contacts, and emergency responders as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
Support a positive atmosphere by interacting courteously with employees, visitors, and/or vendors at the location.
