As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls with calm, clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while supporting a reliable, agile, and innovative operation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to client employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, labs, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify credentials as directed, and document access activity according to post orders and client requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site teams and/or public responders as needed.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client, and support investigations by preserving observations and information.
