Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working conditions may vary based on the location.
Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the tech, media, and telecom environment.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, assisting with access control and site protocols as needed.
