Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the location, providing assistance as needed.
Document all activities, incidents, and/or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.
