Job Description As a Security Officer - Media Patrol Driver in Glendale, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a prominent tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication, supporting a secure environment for all. This is a driving post, so you will operate company vehicles as part of your patrol duties. Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help maintain a secure environment within the tech and media facility.
- Report and document security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity according to site procedures.
- Collaborate with site staff and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
- Remain visible and approachable to assist employees, visitors, and guests with security-related questions and concerns.
