Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location. You will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, document observations, and assist employees and visitors with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a valid driver’s license to conduct mobile rounds as needed. Bring integrity and teamwork to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to the client and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a tech-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns and escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and maintain visitor and vendor logs as required by site policy, including verifying credentials and directing guests to the proper check-in areas.
  • Complete required documentation such as shift activity reports and incident reports, and communicate relevant updates during post turnover to support continuity of operations.
