As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will conduct regular unarmed patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and customer service skills will be key in assisting visitors and team members. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual conditions or situations.
  • Monitor the premises for security-related concerns, reporting any incidents or potential risks according to established protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment within the technology and telecommunications location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related observations as required by site procedures.
