Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond to situations as needed. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
  • Monitor the environment for unusual or suspicious activity and promptly report findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and information, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address concerns and support a secure environment.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or actions taken during patrols and shift activities according to company procedures.
