Requirements

• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control for personnel and vehicles.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for irregularities or security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required by the site.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
