As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents within the location.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
Collaborate with site personnel and local emergency services during incidents and/or drills.
Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, incidents, and/or any security-related occurrences encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to provide a welcoming environment.
