In this role, you will monitor entrances, manage badge access, and conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related access control procedures and following site-specific policies.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment within the location.
Verify identification credentials and grant or deny access based on established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Support emergency response activities in accordance with site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address access control issues and provide updates on security-related matters.
