Job Description As a Security Officer - Marina Patrol Driver in Clarksville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will spend much of your shift driving between areas while completing routine patrols and checks, staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with store teams and/or visitors, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, potential theft indicators, and/or disorderly conduct, and document observations according to post orders.
• Complete reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or customer interactions, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
