Job Description As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol in Saint Peters, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and provide customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or access-control concerns.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems as assigned, verifying credentials, controlling entry and exit, and documenting unusual activity according to post orders.
- Complete detailed written reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrol findings, and communicate key information to site management and Allied Universal leadership during shift transitions.
