About The Position

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Columbus, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a positive atmosphere, while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate security-related concerns and/or incidents as needed.
