Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will be responsible for conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and supporting a secure environment, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Assist with enforcing site-specific policies and procedures related to access control within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors, employees, and contractors as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or security-related concerns according to company and client protocols.
Support emergency response activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
