Requirements

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points for authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the location.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related activities within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Provide customer service by greeting and assisting employees, visitors, and contractors as they enter or exit the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established site protocols.
