Job Description As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Plant Patrol in Lima, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout the site. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and employees, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Report and document any observed irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences, according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while on patrol.
• Assist in implementing and upholding site policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
