As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with team members and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, helping to support a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Maintain awareness of the surroundings and assist with access control procedures as needed.
Document incidents and daily activities according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Collaborate with site staff and visitors to provide assistance and information as requested.
