Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents, while you deliver outstanding customer service and maintain clear communication with staff and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and daily activities.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required by site protocols.
Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials and managing visitor logs as needed for the location.
