Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within manufacturing, industrial, and utility locations. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises as part of your patrols. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, including manufacturing, industrial, and utility settings.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the premises.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related incidents or emergencies.
Assist with access control and visitor management procedures as required by site-specific policies.
