About The Position

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Chillicothe, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for all. You will remain highly visible, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to utilize your valid driver's license while embodying Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the industrial and manufacturing environment.
Collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as required.
Document security-related incidents and maintain clear records as per Allied Universal guidelines.
