About The Position

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Specialist in Bristol, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazardous conditions, or maintenance needs within the assigned area.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document incidents and daily activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
