As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Shift in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the property. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting both employees and visitors. Requirements

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter within a manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report security-related incidents or hazards as encountered during patrols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and/or concerns.
Support access control procedures as required by site policies.
