As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Big Island, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help prevent unwanted activity, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to everyone onsite. This position requires a valid driver's license as you may be assigned to a driving post. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Monitor for and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
Follow all post orders and client instructions as directed by Allied Universal management.
Complete detailed and accurate activity logs and incident reports.
Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required by site protocols.
Remain alert and observant to changing conditions within the manufacturing and industrial environment that may require a security-related response.
