About The Position

As a Security Officer – Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Brookwood, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. This is a driving post, so you will regularly conduct vehicle patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. This post is primarily a driving post.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious behavior observed during patrols.
Document and communicate any incidents, hazards or maintenance needs identified while on patrol to the appropriate personnel.
Support a secure working environment by remaining visible and approachable to employees, visitors, and contractors.
Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific instructions related to security-related operations and emergency preparedness.
