As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to requests with strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 or more years of security-related experience.
  • A valid Drivers License for at least 1 year
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and/or badging protocols at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization, and document deliveries, contractor access, and restricted-area activity in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities and notifying appropriate contacts as required.
  • Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders.
